A violent domestic dispute which started in Moss Vale last weekend has escalated over subsequent days leading to heavily armed police arresting a man for firearms matters
On Sunday, a 41-year-old woman and 48-year-old man became involved in an argument in Willow Drive.
It’s alleged the man physically assaulted the woman before leaving the home.
On Monday morning the man phoned the woman and two other people involved in the dispute, allegedly threatening to shoot them .
Police from the Goulburn Local Area Command and the State Protection Unit subsequently raided a property Laggan near Goulburn
During a search of the property, police seized nine firearms and a large amount of ammunition.
No one was injured during the arrest, and the man now faces a dozen charges, for firearms matters and assault.
The 48 year old man was granted conditional bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court today week .
