Weeklong police investigations into the shooting at a Goulburn home have led to the arrest of a man in outer Sydney, in connection with the offence.

Shortly before 8pm on Sunday, June 9, a 32 year old man went to a house in Strathallen Crescent Goulburn and allegedly using a shortened firearm, fired a shot at the premises before driving away.

The incident was reported the next day and local police commenced inquiries.

Last Tuesday, police attended an address in Macquarie Fields and arrested a 32 year old man.

He has been charged with discharging a firearm into premises, possessing a shortened firearm, breaching AVO and being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.
