Weeklong police investigations into the shooting at a Goulburn home have led to the arrest of a man in outer Sydney, in connection with the offence.

 

Shortly before 8pm on Sunday, June 9, a 32 year old man went to a house in Strathallen Crescent Goulburn and allegedly using a shortened firearm, fired a shot at the premises before driving away.

 

The incident was reported the next day and local police commenced inquiries.

 

Last Tuesday, police attended an address in Macquarie Fields and arrested a 32 year old man.

 

He has been charged with discharging a firearm into premises, possessing a shortened firearm, breaching AVO and being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence.

A 32 year old man arrested in Sydney has been charged in connection with a shooting at a home in Goulburn earlier this month.

 

The incident happened on Sunday night, June 9th when a man went to a house in Strathallen Crescent and allegedly fire a shot at the premises before driving off.

Sydney based artist, Claudia Nicholson has commenced as Artist in Residence at the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery.

 

Director, Gina Mobayed says Nicholson started earlier this month for a three week stint where she will work with art clubbers several times a week.

 

Ms Mobayed says Artist in Residence is part of the gallery's Peripheral programming and sees the incumbent influence the space they're visiting as well as developing personally.
