Goulburn Mulwaree Mayor Geoff Kettle says the allocation of 35 million dollars in low interest loans is proof the state government has enormous faith in the region.

Council will be able to borrow up to $31.59 million for a new sewerage treatment plant, and $3.5 million for a Multi-Use Complex at the Goulburn Recreation Area.

Mr. Kettle says they're very excited to be given the go ahead for the loans if they choose to take them.
