GMC helps local organisations

Five Goulburn district community organisations have received financial assistance from the Goulburn Mulwaree Council.

 

The allocations have come following formal applications to council at its meeting this week.

 

$2,500 have been given to the Goulburn and District Art Society Annual prize and the Gouburn Show has secured $2,000.

 

In kind support totalling around $1400 with another $700 contribution have been granted to the Marulan Kite festival and the Goulburn RSL sub-branch has been given $4,600 for public address facilities for Anzac Day.

 

Convoy for Kids has attracted nearly $1400 in-kind contribution for hire assistance as well as $5,000 for traffic control.
