Load limits imposed on three concrete bridges in the Upper Lachlan are being removed this afternoon.

The Upper Lachlan council is advising that as of 5 pm today, load limits are lifted at structures on Main Road 248 West at Wheeo and Old Man Gunyah creeks.

The Reids Flat road bridge load limit at the Lachlan river will also be lifted.

A council spokesperson says the load limits are being removed on the advice of Roads and Maritime Services following specialised testing and engineering analysis.

Temporary load limits remain in place on select timber bridges, and the un-named bridge at Harley road, Crookwell remains closed.

Upper Lachlan council is also in the process of easing the impact of load limits on other bridge structures throughout the shire.
