Mulwaree High High School museum asked for community vote.

The community of the Goulburn area is being asked to give its support to an initiative at the Mulwaree High School's Remembrance Museum.

 

Application is being made for a state government 'My Community Project' grant and organisers want voters' number one preference to ensure the best chance of securing funds.

 

The application entitled 'Military History With Style relies on the number of votes made in the Goulburn electorate with the first preference getting ten points.

 

The aim is to purchase 'state of the art' display cases to be housed in the Remembrance museums' extension.

 

A spokesperson says a grant would offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fit out the area.

 

Votes can be cast at Goulburn's Service NSW centre with those casting their preferences being at least 16 years of age.

 

A mobile phone and Medicare card will be required.
