Goulburn Reg art gallery improvements

Goulburn Mulwaree's Regional Art gallery is set for major improvement if a recommendation to tonight's council meeting is adopted.

 

A tender is to be considered for the refurbishment of the gallery.

 

A report to councillors says work will involve demolition of existing walls and the creation of dedicated education studio facilities and other improvements.

 

In her latest report to the community, Gallery director, Gina Mobayed has greeted planned renovations as the first stage of a programme of capital works.

 

If approved this evening, it is expected work will be undertaken during a scheduled shutdown of the gallery between September and November.
