Upper Lachlan welcomes Veolia Mulwaree funds

The Upper Lachlan Shire Council has welcomed more than $72,000 in funding for local community projects from the Veolia Mulwaree Trust.

 

$1,000 grants have been given for re-freshing aspects of the Crookwell and Gunning libraries and festivals at Taralga and Crookwell.

 

Other amounts have gone to the Dalton Public Hall and Gunning Community Care.

 

The Collector Memorial Hall has received nearly $19,000 for unisex disabled toilets, another $22,000 to the Taralga Public School for an adventure area and almost $26,000 is for Crookwell/Taralga Aged Care to buy and install new electric beds.
