52 year old on firearms charges

A man has been arrested and charged with a string of firearms offences following a police search at a house in Goulburn.

 

Officers attended the home on Sunday following reports that a man had been stabbed in the neck.

 

Following the wounding incident, police executed a crime scene warrant at the house and as a result seized an air rifle.

 

On Tuesday, a search warrant executed at the premises saw officers locate a replica pistol buried in the rear yard.

 

Also located were a home-made electronic control device, bullets, prescription medication and jewellery.

 

A 52 year old man arrested at the scene is charged with 11 offences including possession of a taser.
