A long serving employee of Goulburn's Home store has been recognised for her service.

Cindy Trevanion yesterday recorded thirty years service with a company which has undergone significant evolution in that time.

She remembers going in for a job interview on a weekend in 1987 with the then manager of Donaghues, George Cunningham.

The store was then located in Knowlman's old building in Auburn street and over the years became Magnet Mart, relocating to bigger premises in Sloane street.

Yesterday, Cindy Trevanion enjoyed a morning tea at her work, now the Home store in Sloane street.

Store manager, Matthew Lawler presented her with a long service certificate, a thirty year long service pin and a letter from the CEO of Metcash, which now owns the business.
