Goulburn Police have gone public seeking information into the theft of almost $27,000 worth of sheep in the Upper Lachlan shire.

In the first incident 150 cross bred Merino ewes from a 6000 acre property on the Boorowa Road near Narrawa were taken between June and late September.

The ewes had green ear tags and had the letter “V” and a slash in the right ear.

In the second incident a flock of around 11 white Suffolk stud ewe lambs with ear markings and tags were stolen from a property in Cummins Road Laggan.
