A senior homicide investigator has refused to rule out the possibility the nephew of backpack killer Ivan Milat was involved in the murder of a young woman whose body was found in the Belangalo Forest.
The body of the female, known only as Angel, was found two years ago, with tests revealing she could have been aged anywhere between 13 and 25.
Homicide squad boss Mick Willing has told the Daily Telegraph forensic investigators have found signs of trauma on the remains, suggesting the un-identified female was murdered.
Ivan Milat's nephew Matthew is currently in jail over the killing of David Auchterlonie in the Belangalo Forest in August of 2010.
