A good crowd turned out for yesterday's Remembrance Service in Belmore Park Goulburn.

Locals paused and gathered for a moment to remember those who've made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

The service marks the signing of the armistice, which signified the official end of hostilities in World War One.

RSL President Gordon Wade says he was particularly impressed with the turnout from young people.
