Premier chaff producer in Goulburn to call it quits

One of Goulburn's best known chaff producers John Fife will be hanging up the boots at the end of the month with his commercial chaff cutting business.

However Mr. Fife who runs a farm called the Old Gundarry on Windellema Road says he'll be still growing, storing and selling hay.

His feed mix once featured on Burke's Backyard as one of the best in the country.

John says after 40 years it's time to start slowly winding back the business.
