Power has now been restored to a majority of customers around Crookwell who were without power earlier.

However on the downside a number of homes in the Banisters Lane and Woodhouselee  are still waiting

Essential Energy's Manager of Community Relations Penny Cox says those homes without should return to normal later this afternoon. 

Meanwhile Motorists are being advised to take extra care on local roads as well as the Federal, Kings and Hume Highways with the slippery conditions.

Transport Management spokesperson Nicky Sinclair says many roads across the state are still affected.

To other closures and cancellations

A listener says trees have fallen on Parkesbourne Road, Gap Road and Henry Parkes Road.

The Garunda to Goulburn bus service has been cancelled as well as the Parkesbourne - Pomeroy run.

The Goulburn to Bungonia and Goulburn-Boxers Creek road services have been cancelled.

All Crookwell Services to and from Goulburn have been cancelled along with the Bigga and Laggan Services.

Taralga bus services aren't operating including the Fish River, Lost River, Weo, Taralga to Crookwell and Goulburn, Myrtleville and Golspie services.

Goulburn Harness Racing have re - scheduled today's meet to Monday at 10 to 3 with free entry.

The St Marys and Bushrangers Fashion Parade at Crookwell RSL has been postponed

Goulburn Amateur Swimming Club has cancelled tonight’s club night.
 
And the mail run from Goulburn to Taralga, Golspie and Bannaby areas won't be going ahead.
